Volunteering with an ambulance service in Palm Beach County as a teenager, first exposed Dr. Denoff to the joy of lending a helping hand to those in need. The excitement of providing emergency medical care, and making a difference in the community proved to be very appealing, and was the first step on the path to becoming an orthopaedic surgeon.
After he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, Dr. Denoff then proceeded to the University of Miami School of Medicine for both medical school and residency. Dr. Denoff enjoyed ten years of private practice before relocating to DeLand and joining Florida Orthopaedic Associates in 1998. In addition to general orthopaedic care, Dr. Denoff has special areas of interest that include Computer Assisted Total Joint Replacement Surgery, arthroscopic shoulder and knee procedures, hip resurfacing, arthroplastic surgery and Endoscopic Carpal Tunnel Release. Dr. Denoff has found West Volusia County to be a very warm and inviting community, filled with many opportunities for the outdoor sports enthusiast. When not in the operating room, Dr. Denoff enjoys water skiing, weight training, scuba diving and golfing. Dr. Denoff also serves as a team physician for the high school athletic programs at Deland, Deltona, Trinity Christian, and Orange City. Medical School: Internship: Residency: Certifications: |
Dr. Denoff continued caring for people as an emergency room technician in West Palm Beach during his vacations from the University of Florida, where he was majoring in chemistry and biology. Working in the emergency room provided exposure to all fields of medicine, and is where he immediately felt himself drawn to the field of orthopaedics. The combination of biomechanics, sports-related injuries and the rapid restoration of a patient’s quality of life were all very exciting aspects of the orthopaedic field.
